We are also enjoying the study of the historical/traditional uses and relationship of the Christmas Tree Oil, amounst  our Amerindians and French Canadian "Coureurs des Bois

' fur trappers,

The Amerindians worshipped the Evergreen Fir Tree, the Christmas Tree traditonally used here in Canada. For the Amerindians, this majestic tree was inhabited by a powerful spirit, a forest god, who difused his salutary properties through the branches of the Canadian Boreal Evergreen Forests.

—North American Indian tribes used it as an antiseptic healing agent applied externally to wounds, sores, bites etc. It was used as an inhalant to treat headaches and was also taken internally to treat colds, sore throats and various other complaints

The Canadian fur trappers, also known as les "Coureurs des Bois" (Runners of the woods), knew of and used, the fir's disnfectant, medicial properties

Intuitavly, later hospitals for the treatment of Tuberculosis patients, were built in th e midst of Fir forests.

This beautiful tree still shares with us it's aomatic medicinal, and spiritual properties. With our X.T.O we are happy to offer them to you---- ALL YEAR AROUND!
